November 2015
John Stapleton, Innovation Fellow, Metcalf Foundation,
The Centre for Research on Work Disability Policy, National Symposium
This series of Power Point slides sketches the landscape of the income earned by people with disabilities across Canada. Social assistance is one of nine disability income systems, but its relative proportion has increased over the last 10 years. The presentation names 14 reasons for this trend, and six reasons for rate differences among Canadian provinces.
The Power Point and Excel files with the data to support this presentation may be found on The Centre for Research on Work Disability Policy website at: https://crwdp.ca/en/informing-roadmap-work-disability-policy-canada-0
